“Ignite The Mic” is Central Louisiana’s #1 gathering place for artists and lovers of the arts, and “Catch a Wave Boutique” is the number one plug for all your clothing and accessory needs. Together, we are teaming up to bring an ART EXPLOSION to Central Louisiana.

For the first time ever: Poetry meets fashion in Central Louisiana. Join us for food, poetry, music, singing, a fashion show, and all things art! This show will bring all art lovers together. Do something different with your Sunday evening. We invite everyone to join us for this amazing night of collaboration and artistry.

Ignite The Mic Alexandria is a local and privately funded creative initiative centered around unity, inclusion, diversity, and healing through the arts. We believe poetry can be used to create a healthy dialogue about issues, often deemed taboo to discuss. We strive to create an understanding and appreciation for diverse perspectives by cultivating and amplifying creative voices. The purpose of this event is to promote the creation and performance of art that engages communities and provides a platform for artistic voices to be heard uncensored.

Doors open at 6:00pm. Show starts at 6:30pm. Food available for purchase. No outside food or drinks allowed.

COVID protocols in place. Online ticket purchase is REQUIRED! Door payments will not be accepted. Face covering encouraged.

Please note: All shows begin on time. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of house management.
